TyDroProducer

When did you start making beats?

I received a keyboard for Christmas when I was 7 years old. For years, I played with melodies and created different sounds. As I grew older I switched my instrument of choice from a keyboard to a computer, using Digital Audio Workshops to create music.

Who are your musical influences?

As an artist, my biggest influence is Tupac Shakur. He touched many lives with his message and the relativity of his music. And his work ethic was unmatched by anyone in the game. From the producer side, Kanye West and Dr. Dre have been huge influences in my production. They can make something new a hit or flip a classic and make it a hit all over again. Those two producers alone have changed the whole sound of hip hop at one time or another…….Amazing!

Describe your style?

The styles of beats I create are often compared to Neptunes or Kanye West. I like to use a good melody and bass line, with live instrument sounds and drops. I have a tendency to make all kinds of different styles. I don’t stick to one style because you limit yourself. I am always expanding my creative skills. My beats range from soul samples, club bangers, to something you’ve never heard!

What are you using to make your tracks.

I use FL Studio 9 XXL Producer Edition with sound kits, Nexus, VST And DirectX Plug Ins, and Adobe Audition.

If you could work with one artist who would it be and why?

The one artist I would love to work with would be Outkast. Outkast is amazing when it comes to creativity. If you listen to all the records, you can hear their evolution as an artist, and their growth in production. Every beat they choose is a classic, and I believe If I had the chance to work with Outkast, we could create something incredible for the world to hear!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years I see myself as the Producer of the day’s biggest artist, owning my own entertainment company, and creating music activities and courses for kids across the world! Music changed my life for the better and I want to help reach others with music. One!
